On Monday 23rd July, supporters of the Justice4Sanaz campaign held a protest outside the Institute for Communication Studies (ICS) at Leeds University. This is the department of the university which was responsible for unfairly dismissing Sanaz from her PhD studies, and has been a contest target of protests for over a year now, as part of Sanaz’s campaign to be able to finish her PhD.

After marching around campus, we leafletted students and staff on campus about the campaign – but aslo raising wider points of the way international students are often treated as cash cows by the big university.
